On October 16th we celebrated 5 years of marriage. We decided to stay close to home to save money. I spent weeks researching something fun and different in GA. I found Historic Banning Mills. It was fantastic and a great deal! We were able to get a package that included the room w/jacuzzi, a candle light dinner and a zip line canopy tour. So we decided on an adventure get away. And boy, was it an adventure. It took about 3 hours. We zipped down canyons and crossed over wire bridges. It was exhausting yet exhilarating. After our tour we spent a while in the lodge playing checkers and watching others as they zipped through the woods. Our dinner was served in our room and was delicious. On the way home we stopped for lunch at Maggiano's to reminisce. It has been a wonderful 5 years and we had so much fun celebrating it. I feel like we are closer than ever. This is so sweet. I have never heard of Bannings Mill but, will have to check it out. Our Anniversary is Oct 17,looks like you guys were married the day before us. :)
